Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FXbuddy, operated by Tiny Tapes. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Account

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Subscription & Billing

FXbuddy is offered on a monthly or yearly subscription. Charges are processed by Stripe at the beginning of each billing period. Credits are allocated with each renewal.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Stripe billing portal. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period. Monthly subscriptions do not issue prorated refunds for unused time.

3. 7-Day Guarantee

If within your first seven days you cannot produce a production-ready VFX shot, contact us at tinytapeshelp@gmail.com and we will work with you to make it right, up to and including a refund of your first month.

4. Credits

Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over. Top-up credit packs do not expire as long as your account remains active.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, depicts minors in inappropriate ways, or violates applicable laws. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your Content

You retain all rights to footage you submit and to the effects generated from it. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process your footage solely to deliver the requested output.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Generation may occasionally be delayed during maintenance or capacity constraints.

8. Intellectual Property

The FXbuddy software, plugin, brand, and website are owned by Tiny Tapes. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tiny Tapes is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
