Frequently asked questions

When do I get paid?
Monthly, on the 1st of each month, for commissions earned 30+ days ago (to allow for refunds). Minimum payout threshold: $50. Payouts are sent via Stripe Connect or PayPal.
How long do referral cookies last?
60 days. If someone clicks your link and subscribes within 60 days, you get credit for the referral. The cookie survives browser restarts and clears only if the user explicitly clears cookies.
Can I refer myself?
No. Self-referrals are detected and voided automatically. Attempting to self-refer may result in your affiliate account being suspended.
What if my referral cancels or requests a refund?
Refunded commissions are clawed back. Cancellations stop future commissions but don't affect commissions that have already been paid out. You keep what you've already earned.
Can I be in multiple tiers?
Each affiliate account is tied to one tier. If your audience naturally splits (e.g. a YouTube channel and a newsletter), you can sign up for a second tier with a different email address.
What can I NOT do as an affiliate?
No paid search bidding on FXbuddy brand terms (e.g. "FXbuddy" on Google Ads), no coupon-site or reward-site spam, no incentivized signups, and no misleading claims about what FXbuddy does. Violators are banned and forfeit all unpaid commissions.
